Arthur watches them and listens to Mere as he talks about them. He had known through his extensive research that the prince was royalty but the details had been a little fuzzy.
He nods in understanding.
"It is a little annoying," he admits. "That there's one rule for them and another for us. But, that said, you have to wonder if it's because some of us are less subtle than others. Or, if they realize that you can't throw two people together as much as they throw us together without something eventually happening."
He watches the waiter come back to the table to ask if they want any appetizers.
"Do you gentlemen want anything to start? The smoked salmon is good as is the caviar," Arthur says, taking another sip of his wine.
