Adonis had never had anyone in his life who had meant something to him. Not really. Though 'meaning' something to him meant something far different than the normal person. Even before the training, he didn't have the "normal" empathy or the feelings of 'care' and 'love' that it seemed most of his peer group had.

Even if they didn't always exhibit said traits that they preached on and on about.

If there was someone who had come close to meaning something to him, it was Nik. He counted on Nik to be there. He liked his attention. And some part of his brain saw the man as his.

At the teasing shove backward, Adonis smirks and moves his hands down to his pants - unbuttoning and unzipping them while toeing off his shoes. "May make it easier if you're also naked," he says, looking Nik over slowly.
