Arthur and Eames

Arthur and Eames have been partners for longer than they've been with the organization. Both started out as criminals in two different fields, but the word of dream sharing brought them together. Arthur, a brilliant tactician, and Eames, a forger in every sense and meaning of the word, started out almost adversarial. One crisp and sharp with a military precision and the other messy and wild and dangerous in other ways they found it interesting to work with one another, to say the least.

In the end though they learned that friction between them was all about attraction and once they opened up to one another, the world for them changed.

Now they've walked away from dream share to work for an organization that keeps America safe, protects its people, and lets them do what they do best. Subvert criminals by twisting the law.

Everyone knows they're not just partners in the work sense but in every sense. In love. Devoted to one another. Able to read the other without a word, Barely with even a look. They're not as tightly wound as some in the Ravens, and certainly cause a lot of trouble in different ways, but they're good at what they do... and they're feared by those that know the truth of who and what they are.

[ At one point, in the early days of their partnership, no doubt he said it in a condescending way. Now? After how their relationship changed, grew and only became stronger, it was fond. ]

It's a beautiful piece and I haven't done one of his in a while. Getting things out now to work on it.

How much time do you need to complete it? I’m tying up a few loose ends and will head back when I’m done. Let me know if you need anything.

I'm picking up some supplies in about an hour. After that? I could be done by next week? Beginning of? I have some canvasses left to repurpose, and the paints I'm getting are revitalized older paints so just have to have the right ones.

How could I forget the most important quality of all?

Perfect. I'll schedule the hour for after it's complete.

You were blinded by my sexiness, I know.

You are a delight, Darling. I may need you for a distraction though.

Yes, exactly that.

We've done this enough times that I already planned on it.

I would like to not get kicked out of Paris though so let's try not to burn any literal bridges.

I promise you that not only will you not get kicked out of Paris, but also you'll have a lovely new piece of art.

Good because I like my designer.

And I will never turn down new art. You know that.

I know. It's the best gift for us both. Art for you. Knowing how well I do my best. Win win for us both.

[ The job they'd been on had been difficult and hadn't left them with much time to do the things they enjoyed the most. He knew painting and forging art was Eames' way to decompress and destress after jobs like this. And if he received new art in the process? At least until they managed to sell it? All the better. ]

I'm picking up dinner on my way back. Thai or Mediterranean?

[ Things had almost gone tits up, and here was Arthur trying to make things better for Eames... and he saw that. He knew how good he had it, but these moments reminded him even more. ]

Mediterranean. I'm going to take a shower. Don't be long, okay?

I'll be back soon, love.

I'll try and be dressed then.

If you're still in the shower when I return, I'll join you.

Or, we could order room service...

[ And now Arthur wants to skip getting dinner to join Eames in his shower. ]

Only room service if you make the shower with me.
Otherwise better bring me food.

Give me five minutes and I'll be there for that shower.

Six minutes and I'm taking this shower alone ;)

It's less than five minutes before Arthur strides into their room and locks the door behind him. He had been fully intent on picking up Mediterranean food but when given the option of taking a shower with Eames and having room service versus Mediterranean food? He'd take the shower with Eames any day.

"Menace," he says with a smirk, looking at his partner as he shrugs out of his jacket.

Oh but he is utterly a menace given he's standing there in nothing but his boxer briefs and a wicked smile.

"You nearly missed out. I was going to lock the door if you didn't make it," he teases, though they both know he doesn't mean it. He just wanted Arthur there and it shows as he reaches out a hand for him.

"Come on then, Darling."

Arthur takes a moment to look him over, taking in the tattoos and the scars that he's licked and bitten more than not. "Liar," he says with a grin and takes his hand, stepping close to him.

"Now, we have at least three weeks until we're called again," he says, leaning in and nipping playfully at Eames' jaw. He needed this... needed Eames.

"You don't know. No shower with me. No Mediterranean. I might have locked the door."

And then there's those words though and he can't help but to smile as he wraps his arms around Arthur's waist and draws him in close. "Three weeks. I like that. Paris and heists and happiness. I think I can live with that."

[bamf_pointman]

"You enjoy me taking a shower with you," he says with a smile, letting the man draw him in closer. "You only think," he teases.

"I am hoping we spend some of that time in bed- or wherever," he says and steps back so that he can start stripping out of his suit. Everything was taken care of and they had a flight out first thing in the morning. Their accommodations in Paris were taken care of and they were free to spend the next three weeks at their leisure.

Even if they'd been warned to not create any international scandal after the last time. Truly, that was only because they had wanted to create a scene. They'd done more of these than anyone knew and had yet to make a blip on anyone's radar.

"I'm expecting to be exhausted in bed. If you do this shower right," he notes, smirking even as Arthur starts stripping out of his suit. Watching him for a moment as he reaches out and drags his fingers lightly along the length of Arthur's throat.

"So make sure to put me there exhausted, Love," he teases, grinning at him as he reaches for the waistband of his boxers and pushes them to the floor. His robe follows a few minutes later.

"Come on then,' he says with a wink, backing for the bathroom.

"I'm expecting that we're both exhausted after this shower," Arthur smirks, his eyes darkening when Eames' fingers trail over his throat.

Arthur finishes undressing, picking up his clothes and setting them on a nearby chair before grabbing the bottle of lube from the nightstand and following Eames into the bathroom.

He walks toward him and slides his hand down his chest, scratching teasingly. They had different things to bring them back to the here and now. Painting for Eames. Cleaning his weapons and some old-school hacking for himself. But this... this physical connection with Eames settled his mind better than just about anything else did.
