Ben and Nik

Ben was once a vice cop who did what he had to so he could protect those on the street and in homes where children weren't looked after. Niklaus started on a drug task force where he had a bad habit of being around dealers who found themselves broken and busted when they went too near schools.
The two ran into one another on a case when both were undercover on two cases that became one. It had been the start of a beautiful partnership.
Eventually they were transferred to a private taskforce where the Chief of Police though their new captain could keep them under control. At least a little.
It didn't work though.
Perps that wiggled their way out of a conviction weren't seen again. People they couldn't make a case against were suddenly turning themselves in. When they were targeted for the Ravens, their captain had given them an ultimatum. Retired of prosecution. They chose the third option.
It's been a year. They've been through conditioning and medical procedures and chemical transformations to turn them into the ultimate soldiers. Though it hadn't been hard. Neither had come with a conscience. Neither knew what fear was and the thrived on pain. They were made for this program, even before the program remade them.

Be fully honest.
"So... look. If we're talking like this and about how much I trust you, which I do? You should know something. You met Elijah, right? When we were first teamed up? Yeah, he's my older brother. How they found me to bring me in."
no subject
He was just dumping dirt to the side when Nik tells him that bit of news and blinks. "Huh," he says, not questioning whether he heard it correctly. He studies the other man for a minute and thinks back on what he remembers of Elijah. "Yeah, I can... sort of see it. Is that why we're able to get away with murder?"
Adonis glances down at the body before looking at Nik. "Literally?"
no subject
He glances at the hole and gives a nod. "Come help me drop the body in here," he says with a nod, figuring that should do.
"You heard about the Second Street killer? Spree killer from about ten years ago that started at the Second Street United Church? They never released his name because he was a minor, and part of the agreement was his name would never be released. Yeah, I've known him since the day he was born. Guess it runs in the family."
Nik knows his brother could end up for admitting this to anyone. End them both even, but it feels right to talk about it with Ben. He's not always great with intimacy, but this he could do and see what happened.
no subject
"I'm pretty sure it's you helping me with the body considering who killed him," he smirks and walks the few steps to the body.
As Nik talks through about the Second Street killer, he stares at Nik. "Wow. I suppose there could be worse things that run in the family. You're not a rampant drug user and you don't prey on the vulnerable like this piece of shit," he says, kicking the body with his foot.
no subject
"Fine. Come help you move the body to the hole," he teases, because how Adonis is taking this makes him feel better about things.
He can't help but to laugh at that though. "We don't do that. Not any of us. Well, not those of us I talk to. I can't say shit about my dad or our eldest brother."
no subject
He chuckles and with Nik's help, picks up the body and dumps it ceremoniously into the hole. "I usually prefer a better cleanup than this but," he shrugs a shoulder. Adonis was glad that Nik told him. There wasn't much in Adonis's life that he hadn't already shared with Nik. Everything important, the man knew.
"Good. Besides, what's a little spree murder among murderers?"
no subject
He can't even imagine it with a straight face, ending up smiling as the body is dumped into the hole.
"This will do," he says, moving to go back and get the bucket of lye and bring it back. "Step back. Can't have you inhaling this," he says, securing a bandana over his face so all that shows is from the eyes up.
"He's a good kid," he says softly as he starts dumping lye over the body. "One day maybe he'll get out and Elijah will put him in the program or something."
koooool we love you!
Adonis nods and steps far enough away that he won't inhale the lye.
"I'm surprised that he hasn't already been recruited," he says, cocking his hip against a tree and watching Nik as he dumps the lye over the body.
no subject
Klaus pauses then as the lye settles, head canting and giving Adonis a long look. "Son of a bitch. How much you want to bet he's not in prison? I bet he's out there somewhere. Not a Raven but..."
no subject
"Though, how much can they control him if that's the case?"
no subject
He empties the container, turning away to set it aside and pick back up his shovel.
"Depends on what they offered him and who they have as his handler. I assume they would be more hands on than ours." Even they didn't have someone really hands on.
no subject
"If he was a spree killer, they'd have to be more hands on, I assume," he agrees, watching him pick up the shovel again. Adonis rests his shovel momentarily against the tree, pulls off his t-shirt so he can wrap it around his face and walks back over to help him bury the body. "It'd be interesting to note if we're correct."
no subject
He starts to say something else and then stops, staring at Adonis. Well, at his abs. Just taking a long moment to watch him.
"If... if we have to clean up his mess, I'm kicking someone's ass."
no subject
When there isn't more movement from Nik, Adonis flicks his eyes to his partner and spots him looking at him. He grins but doesn't give him shit. He likes the way Nik stares at him like that.
"So you'll try to kick his ass and then Elijah's? Because I'd like to see that." It was times like this where he both loves and hates that any connection he had to his family was nul and void.
no subject
Nik blinks, shaking his head, and he can't help the look on his face. "He needs someone that isn't Elijah," he murmurs softly. "And I can't imagine how he's using him."
And yet here he is, doing his brother's bidding as well.
no subject
He goes silent for a moment as he focuses on burying the body. "Do you think he'd let Elijah use him," he asks but here they were, doing things for Elijah in so many ways. Was Kol any different? Was he willing to play by the unhinged rules that they were set up with?
no subject
He tossed his shovel down, moving before he could think. He stepped in, moving to grab the belt loops of the other man's trousers and dragged him in close to kiss him. If Adonis lets him. Hell he might get punched for this. He didn't have a clue what might happen.
no subject
Oh.
He tosses his shovel to the side before cupping Nik's face between his palms as he returns the kiss. He likes the way Nik kisses and tastes.
no subject
Not caring about who might see them, or what attention it might draw. He just needed him. Now.
"We need to get somewhere," he murmurs between kisses, even as his hands hold him so that Nik can rock against him, his cock hard and grinding against Adonis' hip.
no subject
"Where," he murmurs, biting down on his bottom lip and sliding a hand down to squeeze Nik's ass. He didn't care one bit who saw them. "We done here?"
no subject
Not rent one. Not bother checking in, just use one. He gives Adonis' ass a slap before spinning him around and giving him a small shove towards the car.
"Follow me there," he says, knowing they can't leave one of them here and draw attention. Even if he doesn't want to be apart from him now."
no subject
He didn't want to be apart from Nik either but they couldn't draw any additional attention to themselves. Adonis pulls his eyes from his pocket and unlocks the doors to his car as they draw near.
Damn he wanted Nik's mouth on him again and feel his arms around him.
no subject
"Be thankfully we don't need to draw attention to us or you'd be finding out how hot that car hood is," he calls, licking his lips with the desire to rush up behind him and pin him down.
no subject
His mouth curls up. "We'll save that one for later then," he says, tossing back a wink as he opens the driver's side door and gets in.
Now he really wanted that to happen one day!
no subject
But he's not letting him think about it all either. About how they shouldn't be doing this or what chances they're taking. All he can think about is tasting Adonis again as he pulls into the parking lot, skidding to a stop at the far and away from the check. He isn't worrying about checking in, just getting them into a room.
