Felix and Peter

Felix comes from a well known Italian family who held the respect, and the fear, of their region for many years. Felix celebrated living the life his family's reputation afford him, working a mixture of alchemy and science that was nothing short of magic to help the family. It was that skill that brought him to the attention of the CIA and the organization that put together the Black Ravens. To be celebrated for his "magic" with chemicals was not something he was willing to turn down.

Peter was a devoted second in command to his family. A deadly enforcer with a set of custom claws that could sever a spinal cord or rip out a throat. When his family was murdered by another criminal organization, he slaughtered the people that had done it, and every single member of the family whether they were involved or not. He had been facing prison, likely the death penalty, when someone stepped in. That person gave him a choice. Return to his trial, or begin training for the Ravens. A chance to protect others and make sure they didn't watch their family slaughtered before them? He jumped at the chance.

"We can take our time, find what we can. I'm sure we won't find any of them but it's pretty obvious they really didn't prepare for who and what we are. If they didn't with the guards back there, they likely didn't here either."

Which meant places they thought were hidden enough likely weren't. Not from them.

"Someone you want to be in touch with, or don't want knowing you're here at all?"

Because Peter understood that well. He was in Italy. No one but the program and Felix knew where he was. It was like a dream.

"Sì, we are here for a while," he agrees, still looking around the common area for a moment before turning to face Peter. "If anything, it's something small." And something that wouldn't take much to break with their strength.

But he's not saying that out loud. Not if there are still listening ears around.

He chuckles low at the question and walks over to him. "If both families are still around - one had a line of terrific cooks and a winery attached so we will be fed and have plenty of drink, should we get there. The other could be useful in other ways. But neither of which I'm overly eager to see and be in touch with even if it were allowed."

Not when he had this man to himself for the foreseeable future.

Well, to himself and the program.

Peter considers that, strolling to close that gap as he wraps his hands along Felix's hips and draws him in close. "Why would we have to? I can cook. I'm sure between us we can afford food and good vintages. We should leave that in our back pocket until we know we need them."

Wasn't that part of why they were here? Because of the men they are and the things they do. They could handle anything they needed to, and without relying on others.

"So let's see what we have, what we need, and start making a plan. Hmmm?"

And yet as he says that, he leans in to kiss him. Not hesitant but slow, taking his time, enjoying this moment as he lets himself feel that connection between them as Felix's scent overwhelms him in the best possible way.
