Arthur and Eames

Arthur and Eames have been partners for longer than they've been with the organization. Both started out as criminals in two different fields, but the word of dream sharing brought them together. Arthur, a brilliant tactician, and Eames, a forger in every sense and meaning of the word, started out almost adversarial. One crisp and sharp with a military precision and the other messy and wild and dangerous in other ways they found it interesting to work with one another, to say the least.
In the end though they learned that friction between them was all about attraction and once they opened up to one another, the world for them changed.
Now they've walked away from dream share to work for an organization that keeps America safe, protects its people, and lets them do what they do best. Subvert criminals by twisting the law.
Everyone knows they're not just partners in the work sense but in every sense. In love. Devoted to one another. Able to read the other without a word, Barely with even a look. They're not as tightly wound as some in the Ravens, and certainly cause a lot of trouble in different ways, but they're good at what they do... and they're feared by those that know the truth of who and what they are.

He spends a minute, catching his breath and watching Eames with dark eyes. This isn't the first time this has happened and it won't be the last. He enjoys the way Eames watches him as he's fitted and the way they're unable to control themselves. And maybe, okay, no he definitely gets off on the idea that someone could have been watching them.
"Later," he says, licking at his bottom lip and moving a hand to Eames' mouth to swipe at his bottom lip. "I'll take care of you." Because they'll be interrupted soon to finish Arthur's fitting.

Slowly he laps away the drops, sliding back and sitting back on his heels as he stares up at Arthur with a satisfied look. Even as he adjusts himself with one hand.
"Oh you definitely will be taking care of me, Darling," he says, pushing easily to his feet and kissing Arthur slow and deep.
no subject
"I'm looking forward to it," he says and returns his kiss with a low sound, cupping his jaw. "Already have plans in mind for us?"
He pulls back long enough so he can pull his briefs back up before the designer makes his way back into the room.
no subject
"You look so good like this though," he admits in a low, rumbling voice.
no subject
“You’ll have all of me very soon. Shouldn’t take too much longer. Then we’ll head back,” he says, trailing his hand down Eames’ chest.

Looking for all the world casual and relaxed... even as hard and needy as he was in that moment and Arthur knew that.

He breathes and lets the tailor finish with his measurements.
"Vous recevrez les costumes et la nouvelle veste au même endroit, n'est-ce pas," he asks the tailor, his focus remaining on his partner as he soaks him in.
"Oui, bien sûr, monsieur," the tailor says and within ten-twenty minutes, finishes up and looks at Eames.
"Vous voudrez que le costume rouge soit fait pour lui, n'est-ce pas," he asks, walking over to the swatches to find the one Eames had picked out before their break.
As they talk, Arthur starts to redress.
no subject
"Yes, please. Spare no expense, hmmm? I want it over the top and beautiful and something he'd love at the same time."
Because it's so his style in Arthur's means and he loves that so much. He wants to see Arthur in this sleek, brilliant red suit.
no subject
And with that, the tailor left the room.
Arthur chuckles, finishes dressing, and steps down from the raised platform. He makes his way over to Eames after picking up his coat and is tempted to make himself comfortable on his partner's lap but they need to go.
"Ready, Mr. Eames?"
no subject
"Of course. Lead on, Darling."
Because in everything he would follow that man anywhere.

"Want to pick up lunch or head back?" They had an off-the-grid flat from before they went 'legit', under as deep of an alias as they could produce between them. Occasionally, they'd meet up with an old friend or two of theirs but he hadn't made a call yet.
They had time and he wanted to spend a few solid days with just Eames and not entirely working their legit jobs. Eames could paint. Arthur could take a freelance gig but mostly he wanted to spend as much time as he could with Eames naked and alone.

They're heading out, turning down the lane and he just happens to glance down the alley beside the tailors. He blinks, staring down the alley and then tugging Arthur just past the mouth of the alley and tugging him in close to him.
It might look romantic but he's leaning in to whisper to his partner.
"You keep track of everyone. Where are Ex and Meridian right now? Did we get notified they'd be in Paris?" This is their home base. Why would they be there? Could they be there?
no subject
He looked damn good in anything though.
"Last I heard they were in Istanbul just a couple of days ago," he says quietly and glances down the alley before looking at Eames. "I didn't get a ping that they were in Paris. Last I knew, they're both still off active for at least another few weeks."
But if Ex and Meridian were in the city, that could change things rapidly, right? Paris was what Arthur truly considered their home base. To their government and their technical 'safe house' Mombasa was it. But Paris was where they went when they needed to get off the grid and disappear for a little bit. Well, disappear in the way they can within the city.
no subject
"I swear I just saw Ex down that alley with some large bastard in a singlet. Never seen Meridian like that but had to be him, right?"
He makes a face. "I guess there's no other place that bastard gets his suits, right?"
no subject
Arthur blinks. "If there's one of them then that's the other or the other isn't too far away. From what I know and understand, they're rarely without one another close by. So yeah, that's probably Meridian."
His mouth curls up when Eames makes a face. "It is the best place to get a bespoke suit. I admire his taste."
no subject
And he utterly and wholly believed that.
He rolls his eyes. "I know this isn't our home base, but doesn't that bother you? I mean, they're just what? On vacation?"
no subject
He snorts. "Are they not allowed a vacation," he asks with a smirk. "Rumor is that Ex took a bad injury and was given twelve weeks. It's been... 7-8 weeks now? Yeah, I'd say they're doing a few things before going back on active. Like we do. Though, Paris isn't usually on their hit list."
no subject
"No, no they're not. Meridian is literally an inhuman apparition made from anger and spite," he says, trying hard not to grin. "Apparitions don't need a vacation."
Though he can't help but snort and level Arthur a look. "Really? You think he materializes those suits out of smoke and mirrors. He comes here regularly. We just don't ever see them. See? Apparition."
no subject
He snorts. "Everyone can use a vacation even apparitions and men like us who work a little too much. Or perhaps that's just me."
"Well obviously now I know but it's hardly ever pinged here... which is interesting in of itself. I'll have to look into that. Later." Though, he'd also heard the rumors about them and knew they could hide their tracks just about better than anyone.
no subject
And he isn't at all bothered by that either. He loves that part about him as much as anything else.
"I turn everything into a vacation, as you well know." He played as hard as he worked, after all.
"Makes you wonder how often we crossed paths with them without noticing, huh?" He pauses before adding. "Guess its a good thing they didn't walk in when we were alone, hmmm?"
no subject
"You do," he says, his tone fond. It was helpful to have someone like Eames who reminded him to play and enjoy his downtime with how hard he worked. There was a balanced that they've worked hard to master in all the years they've been together.
He hums. "It really does," he agrees and catches himself grinning. "As if it would have mattered if they walked in while we were alone." He leans in and playfully bites at his bottom lip.
"Come on, let's get home so I can return the favor, hm?"
no subject
"You need the reminders, Love. Now, come on," he says, catching Arthur's hand and drawing him in close. "Let's get home and show me how grateful you are."
Heading for the door, just glad to have Arthur at his side as always. Even if Paris is bittersweet sometimes these days.
"We should stop at La Goutte d'Or Patisserie for those little madelines that Mal loved so much."
no subject
His mouth curls up and laces their fingers together. "I seem to remember someone mentioning being naked for twenty four hours," he teases, letting Eames lead them out.
"We should," he says, glancing at Eames. "It's only right that we should have a little piece of her here." She was a big reason for how far the two of them went in dream share.
no subject
"She's why I have you," he says, pulling Arthur in close with that hold on his hand, leaning into the man he loves so deeply. "So I will always do what I can to honor her. By loving you."
It's the one thing he will do for the rest of his life.
no subject
Arthur leans into Eames with a soft exhale. "She's why I have you," he admits, letting his hand go so he can wrap his arm around Eames' waist. There had been no one else in his life who was as important as Eames had become to him.
