Felix and Peter

Felix comes from a well known Italian family who held the respect, and the fear, of their region for many years. Felix celebrated living the life his family's reputation afford him, working a mixture of alchemy and science that was nothing short of magic to help the family. It was that skill that brought him to the attention of the CIA and the organization that put together the Black Ravens. To be celebrated for his "magic" with chemicals was not something he was willing to turn down.
Peter was a devoted second in command to his family. A deadly enforcer with a set of custom claws that could sever a spinal cord or rip out a throat. When his family was murdered by another criminal organization, he slaughtered the people that had done it, and every single member of the family whether they were involved or not. He had been facing prison, likely the death penalty, when someone stepped in. That person gave him a choice. Return to his trial, or begin training for the Ravens. A chance to protect others and make sure they didn't watch their family slaughtered before them? He jumped at the chance.
introductions are in order
Felix stares at their handler and arches an eyebrow. "Question, I don't suppose your martial arts trainers are also supernatural, are they? Otherwise, no matter how skilled they may be, they won't be any match for him or myself." His legs are crossed in front of him as he leans back in his seat.
"We've got it taken care of, Katinen," he says, though whether they did or not was in fact to be determined. They'd dealt with the likes of the Black Ravens and the Brown Ravens... they've dealt with Seven and Eight and the Royals. This? Was decidedly new and radically different.

But then his... his partner puts forth an important question and his smile turns, appropriately, wolfish.
"What happens when we break them?"
It seems an important questions.
"What punishment do we endure?"
no subject
"Frankly, gentlemen, they joined the government. They knew what they were getting themselves into," he says. "Groceries will be delivered throughout your time at the safe house. Your new identities are in the folders in front of you."
"You move out tomorrow at 1500 hours. Training starts the next day. Your countries thank you for your service."
no subject
"So what I heard is that if we kill them, that's their fault, right? You heard that too?"
Peter's voice is a teasing rumble even as he straightens and draws his folder to him.
"Witch and Wolf. You guys thought long and hard on those, didn't you?"
no subject
He snorts at the question from Peter and looks at him. "Si, I did. Do us both a favor, allow us to name a few people who can compare to our strength. It will do you and your trainers no good if we inadvertently kill them by throwing them into a wall."
Not that he cares that much but pointless death was not his favorite thing.
"Very original," he comments and draws his folder to himself as he looks it over.
"Let us be the judge of that and if it comes to it then we will revisit." He stares at the two men. "No one will truly believe that you are what you say you are - so to the enemy, the names will become legend."
no subject
"Do you truly believe that we are what we are?" He lifts his head then, dark eyes turning brilliant blue. One of the men stepped back, his hand going to the pistol on his hip. "I mean, just curious."
no subject
If there were any lingering doubts in the handler about what these two men were, Peter's eyes turning a brilliant blue changed that. He holds his hand out to the other man to keep his hand away from his pistol.
He'd seen proof of it before they'd been brought in and while it had been hard to believe, he couldn't deny what was right in front of him. "Put together your lists," he says because perhaps they should take precautions.
Felix nods. "And what, exactly, are our governments exactly wanting from this little... experiment of yours?"
no subject
His gaze focuses in on the man who reached, and his voice drops to a growl. "Go for it. It's your funeral then."
In the end though, he's having way too much fun.
Though he points at Felix. "Okay he's the only one in the room I like right now. Do tell."
no subject
Their handler looks at the two of them and clears his throat. "This is outside of my pay grade however, I have been told that they are aware of some growing tensions in your communities and want to make sure they won't bleed over to the... uh, human world." Was that the right term?
Felix rolls his eyes. "These "growing tensions" have been happening for decades."
no subject
He nods along with Felix. These kind of tensions have been going on for as long as he can remember. Why now?
"He's not wrong. Besides, why shouldn't it be their world and the human world adjusting to us?"
He sighs, rolling his eyes. "But we get it. Keep them from doing stupid shit, stop those like us that you can't control. Like us. Got it." He glances at Felix. "What do you think, Handsome? Think we got this then?"
no subject
"If there are no other questions, I will call a car to transport the two of you to your new safe house. You will spend the rest of the day getting to know each other. Tomorrow, you will start training."
Felix nods and looks down at the file to read over his new "identity". When the men leave, he looks at Peter. "Do you get the feeling that they have no real idea of what they're looking for?"
no subject
He starts gathering his things, but Felix's question makes him pause and he can't help but to laugh.
"Oh it's definitely a fishing expedition. They found us and now they're hoping to see what we find for them." He glances up in the corner where the camera is. "But we'll talk more at the house. Once we rip out all their cameras and listening devices."
He knows they'll be there, but he doesn't plan on leaving them there.
no subject
"Agreed," he says. There was much they would need to discuss considering who and what they were. They were not going to leave either thing up in a place they would need to be 'comfortable' in for however long it took for them to know each other inside and out.
Or whatever other bullshit they were spouting.
He walks over to the door and opens it, holding it open for Peter to walk through first. "It's a three hour drive to Tuscany from here... on a good day," he says. "I'm going to raid the vending machine before we leave. Want anything?"
no subject
He arches a brow at Felix holding the door, but the smile he gives him is brilliant. "Three hours together in a car. Interesting." He nods though. "I can come with, if you want. Chocolate and soda, definitely."
no subject
He could chalk it up to his age why he holds doors open but he figured it was only polite, right? Right. And that smile in response? Was great too. He gives him a brilliant smile in return.
"You know, I once heard a rumor that there is a pack out there who can't have chocolate," he says as they make their way toward the vending machines they'd passed on the way in. "I cannot imagine."
no subject
Especially one who seemed as if he was going to side with Peter in things, as he had.
His nose wrinkles at that. "Why? You think it was the wood of the tree? Maybe where they're from? California packs don't seem to have that issue," he notes, not that he considers that he has a pack any longer, but none of his prior one had that issue.
no subject
He elegantly shrugs a shoulder. "Perhaps they're closer to the dog side than the wolf? I'm not entirely sure. Again, it's only a rumor that I've heard. It would suck if it was a pack from Switzerland or Belgium what with their chocolate and all."
no subject
It's admitting a weakness, but it's also testing things out. He didn't hate the man on sight, or by how he behaved, but trusting him would become something else entirely.
"Could be worse. Imagine being from France and allergic to grapes maybe," he teases.
no subject
He files the mention away if only because that's what he does with everything he learns. You never know when you will need the information for whatever purpose. Or, in this case, what he needs to keep away from Peter.
"That would truly be the worst, I can't imagine," Felix's eyes widen. He loved wine and sharing it with someone special. "As an Italian, my soul weeps at the mere thought." He sends a grin in Peter's direction though.
no subject
He peers at the card. "Martin Kemper's treat, but then he shouldn't have been a dick back there," he says, glancing at the selections. "Shame they don't have a vending machine for wine."
no subject
"While they may not have vending machines for wine, we will be within minutes of wineries I'm sure, we can pick up a bottle or a case when we arrive." Because they won't be watching all of the time. Not if they had their way.
He looks over the options and chooses a few options.
no subject
"Wonder if his card will still be good then," he teases as he picks out a few things to get them through until then.
no subject
He chuckles. "We can hope and if not, I'm sure we'll manage." He gathers up the snacks that drop. Felix is fascinated by this man and wonders what his story is -why he's in the program. But if what the guy was saying was true, they'd have plenty of time to learn everything there is to know about the other person.
no subject
"Don't worry. I wouldn't pickpocket you. I'd probably curse myself," he teases.
no subject
"Knew you were a smart man," he teases with a little smirk. He heads in the direction of the front where their car would be waiting. "Have you worked with witches or mages before?"
